Shenandoah Middle School
Miami, Florida
Historic preservation and infrastructure modernization of a 106,565 SF middle school originally built in 1940. Exterior windows and HVAC grilles were designed to reflect the original design intent while still meeting the current hurricane impact code requirements. Classrooms and the kitchen were reverted back to the original, open, full height ceiling design using today's modern construction, technology and equipment - creating a better environment for students and staff.
